Kids' Ministry During COVID-19
Our normal mid-week Kids' ministry has been affected by the COVID pandemic, but it is still continuing in different formats. For primary school aged-children, we are running the weekly Big Bible Adventure, which you can find out more by clicking here.
Rooted, for secondary school aged kids, is continuing over Zoom; please email glen@enfieldtown.church for more information.
Below are details for what we usually run for kids pre-lockdown.
Kids' Clubs
As a church we are committed to teaching children about Jesus from the Bible. Bright Sparks and Rock Solid are weekly mid-week groups that provide a safe and fun environment for children to spend time together and hear the Bible taught.
As well as learning about Jesus the groups do a range of age appropriate activities including craft and games.

Bright Sparks
(Reception to year 2)
Thursdays, 4.30 - 5.45pm
Rock Solid
(School years 3-6)
Fridays, 6.00-7.30pm
The first time your child attends one of our kids' clubs you will be asked to fill out a form with contact details and information about any allergies/ health issues. During Bright Sparks you are welcome to stay in our Way In Café for a drink and a chat while the children meet.
We recognise the vulnerability of children and young people in today's society and so we operate a child protection policy for the protection of those in our care. All children's and youth workers have also been DBS checked. It is the parents' responsibility to arrange transport to and from the activities.

Rooted
Rooted is our youth group for school years 7-13. We meet all together from 7:45pm-9:30pm on a Friday to look at the Bible together, sing and enjoy a mix of activities. Come along, everyone is welcome!
During our Sunday morning services we run "Treasure Hunters" groups for pre-school and primary-school-aged children . Children join us for the start of the service and then leave for their groups when directed to do so. There will be plenty of people around to show you where to go. The kids will have great fun playing games and learning about Jesus in a way tailored to their age and understanding.
Treasure Hunters Creche - Creche for children up to 20 months
Treasure Hunters Toddlers - 20 months to 3 years old
Treasure Hunters Minis - Nursery & Reception (3 to 5 year olds)
Treasure Hunters Max - School years 1 - 6.
You can find the TH Max teaching schedule here.
Once a month (usually on the second Sunday) we have an All-Age service. School-aged children stay in for the whole of our gathering (pre-school children leave for their groups as normal).
Children are very welcome to come to our evening services. Clipboards, pens and sermon sheets are available to help them to concentrate during the sermon.

Our Tots group - Tots by the Park - meets during term time on Tuesdays from 10am to 11.30am. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and child-minders are welcome.
Space at Tots by the Park is limited. If you haven't been before (or haven't been in the last month) please contact the church office.
Throughout the morning there is free play for all ages available and - until 10:45am - a craft activity, playdough and puzzles. At 10.45am, snacks and drinks are brought out for the children and we have a DVD and short talk from the Bible for all to hear. The morning finishes with a brief “Song time”. Hot drinks are available throughout the morning.
